Badger Creek Quilts is located in the
eastern
part of Arizona in a small, quaint hamlet - called Greer.
 Greer sits at 8500
feet elevation, is nestled in pines and has an abundance of wildlife. The beauty
of Greer refreshes the mind and body, renews the spirit, and warms the soul.
Our shop is in what was once an old grocery store. We have "the storage area"
for that old grocery. Our ceiling is low, the floor concrete and space is
limited, but we love it here. We have filled our shop with flannels, plaids and
fabrics conducive to the area. If you want wildlife fabric...this is the place
to come.
Our shop opened July 10, 2003 as Badger Creek Quilts. It was so named because
the actual Badger Creek runs through our cabin property. The Badger Creek Trail
is a popular hiking and picnic area.
Our shop has a wonderful outdoor patio with a mural wall designed by Kathy Cosio.
The patio brings the beauty of the outdoors into our shop.
The
web site is set up to offer you kits just a little different from the norm.
 Our
"Ready to Quilt" kits are pre-washed, pressed, 100% cotton. They are also
pre-cut according to pattern directions. Some kits contain a larger variety of
fabrics and/or extra pieces so you can "do your own thing". Please let us know
what you think of the kit and any improvements that can be made. We, of course,
always love to hear from our customers and get photos of finished projects.
There are several small towns that make up the White Mountains of Arizona. There
are also many great crafts people here. Our web site will feature different
craftspeople. These items are well made and make great gifts.
